Synctoy has deleted thousands of files

Hmm, not sure why but about 40k files all deleted over the w/end. Do they go to the deleted folder and can be recovered?

Hoping that this isn't the catastrophe that it seems.

PS I don't have a second copy of the files, they only exist on Synctoy albeit ironically I was in the process of setting up a 2nd backup account!

PPS I do have old backups of the same files so in theory I could recover say from 3 months ago however I don't know how to move files from Synctoy back to the PC.

I only know SyncToy on my Synology and if what you describe happening happened there, they are gone. This is why I have a one-way master-slave SyncThing setup.

What are your two operating systems?
Did you look in the logs in ST?
