Kindle v the rest
Discussion
Hi
I've been a Kindle user since the beginning of time.
Obviously, I am just used to the Amazon ecosystem when buying content.
If I look elsewhere, such as Kobo, how do I load content e.g. does Kobo have its own store?
I don't want to bother with downloading dodgy pdf or txt files, so where do i find content for non-Kindle devices?
Thanks!
John

I've seen Kobo users who get books from Google Books, but really do you want to have to deal with some books on one device, some on another?Edited by xeny on Sunday 1st December 12:53
I'm thinking of a Boox Palma, Palma 2 or Note 10.3 - I also can get epubs from my local library (Hertfordshire) and want to be able to read pdfs. One of the key thing about Boox devices is they are based on Android and so you can install the Kindle app on them (it may come pre-installed). More expensive than Kobo though and the only black Friday deal was a a small discount on a single older model.
