Eufy doorbell and 2.4GHZ only...
Discussion
I recently purchased one of these and have now realised it only works on 2.4ghz operating frequency whilst most other modern gadgets are 5ghz. Not that I knew what my operating frequency was before just that I was buying a modern doorbell for modern internet.
I have a google nest HD2 router but can this be made to run dual frequency? Looking online it seems to be it is dual band so no idea why this won't work.
Short of sending this peice of junk back and swapping for a Ring I cannot see another solution.
Thanks
Simon

You may need to be on the same frequency to add it to the network. So if you are using a mobile phone you need to be connected to the 2.4ghz channel with your phone to connect the doorbell to that channel.
Well it miraculously started working the only thing I did differently was have the doorbell and mobile pretty much touching the router which must have then made the router decide to use 2.4 and it worked. Gassing Station | Computers, Gadgets & Stuff | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
