Microsoft authenticator app - loop of despair!

Hoping someone can help.

Got a new Mac and transferred everything from the old one. Everything's working fine but all my Microsoft apps now require that I re-log in on the 365 platform. When I do this, it asks me to enter the code shown on the authenticator app. But when logging into the authenticator app it asks me to enter the code shown on the authenticator app which I can't access because I can't see the bloody code because I'm not logged in!!!

Have tried binning the authenticator app and starting again but keeps taking me back to the same thing!

Assuming you can get into your MS Account, you need a TAP code. Depending on how your enterprise has configured your account will vary how you can get one. But I'd say this is what you need to get past this point, I also assume you're passwordless too which brings the need for the TAP.
