Spotify 'The Car Thing' modding.

If anyone has one of these (I'm not sure if it was sold here, but maybe some Americans will see this), the Spotify service for them gets turned off in December, and it won't do anything. Spotify are recommending that you 'safely dispose' of the device, the device people payed money for and is a physical thing. Yes they got a whole load of st for that, backed down and offered refunds.

Anyway, it doesn't have to be a brick. Modders have hacked into it so it can still be usable as a controller without Spotify. It's not a high spec box so it's basic stuff that's doable, but something usable is better than it being 'safely disposed'.
