Iphone battery replacement with cracked back

My wife's iphone 13 needs a new battery, Unfortunatly it has a cracked rear case but works perfectly as its in a case, so kept warm and dry.

Will Apple swap the battery or say no?

Is it a Pro? Either way I think Apple will insist on fitting a new back, which is mega bucks (around £350 iPhone 13/£450 iPhone 13 Pro IIRC). Add £100 for a battery and it's probably not worth it.

That pretty much sums it up. Unless you know a decent indie place that can replace just the battery, flog it for spares, get another phone.
