Samsung Curve - Terrestrial TV no picture

Our Samsung Curve has gone odd. Its pretty much 10 years to the day we bought it.
Turned it on to find it trapped in a 2 second loop from Netflix which had been turned off yesterday. It was playing the same piece of footage backwards and forwards despite not using any apps. It was on terrestrial TV. The sound of the TV was playing but no picture. I spent a lot of time resetting, re scanning and trying to reset the TV (you can't factory reset it) and also ensured firmware all up to date. It will not play any picture from the terrestrial aerial. It just plays the sound and on the screen it shows you a volume logo in a box, then disappears.
The apps all work as normal so this is just terrestrial TV. The aerial is the same for all our TVs and the other 2 work fine.
Is this some sort of age related hardware fault?
