Android call recorder?
Discussion
Are there any decent android automatic call recorders out there?
My vivo x note phone has call recording natively, but only if you dial or answer from the phones touchscreen, and 2 thirds of my calls are initiated or answered from bluetooth, either from my car or earpiece.
I only discovered this by looking for a recording where i was in the car with someone else on handsfree and they heard the same conversation i heard but this other swore blind i agreed to something else entirely.
Only 1 third of my calls have been recorded but it has still been a massive help, people saying i agreed to one thing then when i play the call back to them the opposite is true. It has been a massive help actually just being able to see what was said after the fact.
Is there a call recording app that records Bluetooth calls as well as earpiece calls?
Bonus points if it can record whatsapp calls too.

Android call recording is an absolute stshow
They withdrew native support for it about 10 years ago, added their own built in call recorder but only allowed it in selected regions which didn't include UK. They have had various clamp downs on the permissions which allowed apps to get around the restrictions.
It is not entirely clear why UK is one of the regions where it is not allowed, they say it's not allowed in some regions for privacy and legal reasons, but in UK it is definitely legal for personal use, there are just some restrictions on what you can do with the recordings, but no restrictions saying you cannot record.
I gave up a few years ago, because even when you get one that works, google change something and it stops working which isn't great when you think your calls are recorded but you check and find they are silent or you can only hear yourself.
