Apple have added Call recording to IPhones running the latest version of iOS, to enable:

1: Open Settings -> Apps -> Phone
2: Scroll down and enable the "Call Recording" button

When you make/receive a call there is now a button on the top left. If you select it both parties will hear "this call is being recorded".

I’m a heavy iPhone user and updated my iOS last night for this feature alone and have used it numerous times today. It’s a game changer especially when I’d normally be scrabbling around looking for a pen and paper to write to stuff down when I can now tell the caller that I’ll switch into record mode, and then play the call back when it suits me to decant the details on the call.

I visited the local Apple store today (first time ever) to take my work provided XR in that died after 18.1 update, work have given me a SE 3rd gen now.

Apple confirmed that the phone is completely dead. They said its "unlikely" that the 18.1 update caused it, my reply was well thats funny because it was working perfectly fine up until I pressed the 18.1 update and then it died.

A quick search reveals this:

Might be worth posting there to send anyone else has had a similar issue and the getting back in touch with Apple
