Can anyone recommend where one can buy with confidence a refurbished iphone.

Looking at perhaps iPhone 12 or 13

Its a second phone and dont really want to be paying for brand new.

TIA

I've had several from music magpie. They come with a years warranty and if you don't like the phone within the first couple of weeks you can return it for refund or exchange.

Their grading system is quite good too, being accurate. They also sell phones through their eBay store as well as direct. Sometimes you can get an eBay discount voucher you can add to the order there.

i outlet near Plymouth have sold us two good i phones.

I'm biased because it's semi-local but very happy with what I got for what I paid.

Apple Refurb or find tried and trusted sellers on eBay.

A forums can be good too

I’ve had a few phones from MusicMagpie and Amazon Renewed, all got sent back as not as described. Wouldn’t trust them after that. But that’s my personal issues with them

I’d rather pay more and get it from Apple personally - plus you can add AppleCare

I’ve used cex and music magpie - the latter many times over.

Music magpies Grading system is good, I’d go for Pristine or Very Good. Pristine is basically like new.

For cex I read before buying to always go for their top grade condition if buying unseen, which is basically as new, unless you can view in your local store to check the condition meets your own personal standards, as that next level down can vary dramatically as it’s a bigger catch-all grade. I went for the as-new grade for my iPad and it was perfect.

Both I found easy to deal with, both for purchase and returns for historical purchases which failed under warranty.

I’ve bought a number of phones from ‘Cheapest Electrical’ on eBay. They’re usually included in the frequent eBay 20% off coupons. I think they handle returned stock for a lot of big stores. All have been perfect, usually better than described.

So the phone from musicmagpie arrived the very next day (less than 24hrs from order). To have this service was under £4.

So far so good. Battery health is at 87% which was a surprise.

It is indeed in pristine condition as described.

Came with a sim card removal pin and a charging cable.

Must say this 13 pro is a massive jump up from my old iphone X....clap
