Chrome listings

Can anybody advise best way to reset/correct Google Chrome result listings?

I *think I've done a reset, cleared cookies etc but still seem to be getting some weird results.
What I'd expect to be at the top of the search results is often about 5 down.
They are not shown as sponsored, just fairly tenuous links.


eg, search in either top address bar or centre search bar for Lous Cars

Results
Flashes up Lotus Cars in top listing for a fraction of a second...then auto refreshes and gives the following links
Car Wow
Bell & Coalville
Car Gurus
Lotus Cars

Clearly something wrong just not sure how to clear it.

Think I've found the problem.

Running an extension called 'AdBlock Gold'

Switching that off seems to have sorted it.
Will leave up if case anyone else has the same issue.
