Hi

I have just had EE super fast fibre installed using a Smart Hub Pro and Smart WiFi Pro Device.
I have a PlayStation 4 and largely use it to play Destiny 2, a first person shooter. I now can’t join fireteams or accept/receive invites to join.

Looking at the settings it seems my issue is that the NAT is type 2 which is effectively blocking these “unsolicited” requests.

For the game to work properly I need an open NAT but my PlayStation is reporting a NAT 2 moderated connection.

I can’t see any settings in the control panel for the router to change this, any advice as I just want my game to work again 😊

If I swapped the EE router to another brand would this fix it, ie is the setting coded into the router itself?

Before this I had a BT Smarthub without this issue so the only thing that has changed is the router.

thanks

Thanks

I fixed it in the end by changing the router settings using a hard wired connection rather than through the router panel via Wi-Fi.
