Best phone cover/case for a Samsung s24 ultra?

Long story short, have a s21 ultra with a uag monarch case.

It's taken some 'abuse' but twice now I've dropped it onto the concrete/tarmac outside my house and not sure if it's just hit a sweet spot but one time a stone managed to crack the screen and the other day, the screen doesn't appear physically damaged but I've got bright white/greeny lines running the length of the curve (bit odd as it didn't feature said damage straight off but occurred 10 minutes later).

Anyway, the phones coming up to 2 years old and the battery doesn't last the day/like it used to so time for an 'upgrade'. I mean i could get a new s21 ultra for around 450 or something but man maths say just pay the extra and get the s24 ultra,

So my question is, what protectors do people recommend that might prevent such things from happening again? Are mous as good as they say or just catchy social media advertising? Stick with uag? There isn't really a case unless I want one with a front cover as well?

I've used tech21 covers for years and always found them to offer excellent drop protection. that plus a generic screen protector has seen me right for years.

I've used Snakehive leather cases on my last three Samsung phones. Currently have a 21+

I always have Ringke Fusion cases on my phones.

I have dropped my phones many times onto a hard floor (hospitals and being piped to a machine you sometimes forget how far your arms can move!) and they have always come out with no damage.

Spigen cases have always protected phones well. Have used them for the last few models of S series phones although no experience with the S24 ultra specifically.

I used a Spigen on my S22 and somehow the sides got pitted and scratched really badly.
Got a Tech21 on my S24U and it seems fine, have dropped the phone waay too many times and it's survived.

For the screen protectors i ordered these and they seem to do a really good job except i can't get my fingerprint to register but i'm not bothered by that.
