Outlook offline?
Discussion
I run the old Outlook which MS has been trying to push me off into 'new Outlook' (and then not letting me use it).
Anyway, Outlook suddenly stopped working. It opens and I can see emails but nothing new arrives, I will compose emails but I cannot send emails, it doesn't seem to have access to the address book or Calendar. MS Support suggest there is an Offline mode but their instructionsto to turn it off talks about Select Settings > General > Offline. I can't see even the General tab.
Or is Outlook the problem?

I presume this is for personal use? I'm also not sure which email service you are using, but I presume Live/Hotmail etc.?
If it is a personal account, try accessing https://www.office.live.com/
If that's working then it you'll need to check the account configuration in the Outlook client.

Sort of. It is my old company email via Ionos on my Plusnet account. It is all working on my phone. If it is a personal account, try accessing https://www.office.live.com/

Are you using a hotmail/outlook account for your email and if so are you still using IMAP or POP3 to get your email? If so you need to drop the account and reconnect, hotmail (plus under it's various modern guises) now (or soon at least) uses Exchange only for improved security. If this is the case for you then you will have received at least a few warning emails over the last few months.
