I've just bought a Galaxy tab s9 plus, nice bit of kit and like having the s23 I've got in bigger format.

One thing winding me up is the keyboard situation or lack of.

You can buy all in one jobs with the case but I don't always want a keyboard when on the move but when on extended trips, planes/trains.

Has anyone got recommendations on keyboards that are suitable?

My wife just got issued a HP350 and I'm quite impressed with it.

Nice and compact and 3 devices, perfect for sticking in her bag for travelling and a similar size to the compact Mac keyboards I use myself.

Deal: HP 350 Compact Bluetooth Keyboard. Connect up to 3 devices via Bluetooth 5.2, Multi-OS, with SMART shortcuts, dictation and emoji keys, 2 years battery, made from 60% recycled materials, Black https://amzn.eu/d/biWPqKS

Bought the one linked below, was for a works tablet that gets used on site. Didn't want to spend too much on something that's going to get dirty and destroyed. It's been great. Backlight is handy when using it anywhere unlit but not over powering.

I bought a Samsung Trio 500 for my Galaxy Tab.

Nice bit of kit although it does need AAA batteries which I thought was a bit odd - I'd expected it to be rechargeable.

It sounds like all i'm missing is a bluetooth mouse not a mouse with Dongle.

I have just found within my tech hoarders office an older BT keyboard (using now) that will do for me and i'll have a look around for a wireless mouse so my dongles not hanging out (Ooo er missus)

Logitech K480 with a groove for the tablet.
Connects 3 devices too via BT. I have a K780 for use at home but I'd say the 480 is easy enough to take around.

I've got a Tab S7 with the Samsung keyboard. It was an expensive option but works very well both as a screen protector and also as a keyboard - my S7 lives with the keyboard permanently attached, but if it ever gets in the way, then its easy to just remove the keyboard part as it's magnetically attached.

If I was upgrading to a newer model, then I'd pay the extra and definitely get the Samsung keyboard - it's ace.

Incidentally, I've used the pen about 5 times in total in the 4 years or so I've owned the tablet, so wouldn't bother with that unless it was a freebie.

p.s. All my Pistonheads posts are written on the S7, so feel free to judge the keyboard quality from my messages hehe

p.p.s. My S7 shows little signs of wear even though I use it for web browsing/youtube etc every single day and it still feels as fast as it did on day one - I can't see me replacing this anytime soon!

Is this like this one?

It's 200 odd quid for the Tab S9 Plus so I think I'll wait for it to drop down.

That looks very similar. It's expensive but good quality and worth it in my opinion. It turns it from being just another tablet into being a useful tool. The bonus is that its rigid, so acts as a great screen protector when closed.

I have the Tab S8 Ultra, they gave me the keyboard cover for free, though they screwed up the stock and it took months to arrive!

It's really very good, a nice balance of quality and performance Vs size - it adds very little to the size of the service. It has a few bespoke Dex buttons on it, which is worth bearing in mind.

Yes I saw this deal with the Ultra on the S9 but ultra was a bit too big for me, coupled with I've got a MacBook as well thats the same screen size (But on the way out).

I think if I was Working on the road a lot I'd get one but not sure my needs are that demanding for the keyboard (yet).
