WIn 11 Bluetooth speaker

new HP Win 11 laptop, cannot get it to play audio through my BT speaker. Speaker is a Psyc Monic, works flawlessly in Win 10. I've done pretty much all I can think of as a user, removed & re-paired it, updated drivers, rolled back drivers, deleted all Realtek & Bluetooth devices via device manager & rescanned hardware & gone through drivers again. Removed all other BT devices connected to the machine & still the only way I can get sound out of it is to set it as a microphone whereupon it will work for a few seconds at a low bitrate.

Work laptop, so I'm stuck with it, just looking for ideas I've overlooked.
