Help on XM EYE CCTV problem
Discussion
I've got an issue with that software.
Cameras set up at our remote sports club. 3 cameras to the DVR. DVR then connected to a TP-Link 4g router using a 3 sim.
XM EYE app on phones works fine on-site or from anywhere else. but cannot get it to work via a laptop using the XM EYE - VMS software. Laptop works when connected to the router on site.
Having a play today it looks like we might be on Carrier-grade NAT (CGNAT) as we get different public IP addresses being reported, TP-link router reports one IP address but using a web site to report our IP it gives another. Never played with 4g routers before so never knowingly come into contact with CGNAT before.

Hi Ii have an Floureon CCTV DVR that records images from the 2 cameras.
I can access the cameras when I am on a a WIFI network ie home but when I am on a Cellular network i cant, it keeps saying that cameras offline.
Any ideas please.
Have you set up appropriate port forwards?I can access the cameras when I am on a a WIFI network ie home but when I am on a Cellular network i cant, it keeps saying that cameras offline.

As a side note, this is not recommended. CCTV shouldn't be internet facing. Instead look to run a VPN server and access via your local network that way.
