Hi,

I'm going away for a break next month and would like to do some drone footage.

Does anyone have any recommendations for one that can do snazzy things like following me for footage, return to me etc?

New to drones as well so not clear on terminology so apologies!

Before you buy, have a look at this map and make sure you have somewhere to fly it.

Dronemap

With the help of a bottle of wine and an auction site, I bought one then discovered I live in a no-fly zone, with many more no-fly zones nearby and that the holiday I intended to use it on wouldn't work because they're pretty much banned in Germany and heavily restricted in France. And you need GB and EU licensing because we're outside the EU now.

I bought it in June and have not yet flown it...

Or, just fly it. Who’s going to catch you, MI5?

Yes, this is a trip to Sardinia and drones look acceptable.

HoverAir is one I've had an eye on, but I'm not seeing it being any good at height and more for follow footage.
