Just a vent really, the phone appears comprehensively dead frown

I have a Pixel 6 Pro which has been unused for a year that Ive just made the mistake of updating to Android 14 - because after a year why wouldnt I?

Its bricked and Google has lead me to find a number of other folks with the same issue especially on Reddit
Nothing within my modest but not total novice skillset has worked including the official repair through the Google website involving connecting to my computer

The phones worth peanuts and was wiped before being laid up however I needed a spare this week and it would have been perfect

If anyone can relate and has a magic cure Im all ears

Time for a beer and Google can permanently sod off for any future family phones, cheers

Will it not turn on in safe mode and then do a factory reset? Think it's the power and volume up buttons

Safe mode wont work - cant recall the error code when you hold power and vol down but Ive tried numerous times
Its also 80% charged

Its currently in the fridge as someone on Reddit said that worked - Im not holding my breath smile

I don't know why sticking it in the fridge would work. Only real thing we've got to go on is the error code when you try safe mode, there's something going on if neither that or the software repair are doing anything.
