Bit of a random one, but I don't know where else to go!
I used to have a Moto G200 5G. Lovely phone but it would randomly dial certain numbers, usually when it was in my pocket and it was raining. I know that's ridiculous, but bear with me. It would ring each number 5 or 6 times continually. I got fed up so bought a Razr 40 Ultra.
Lovely phone but, after a week or two, the same thing happened. Multiple calls to the same numbers, usually when it was in my damp pocket! Anyone else had anything similar?
Is there a log of what's happened when and what's triggered it?
It's driving me mad, because I've bought a new phone to get rid of a problem and got the same thing!

The Razr 40 is a flip phone? Can you even dial a number when it's shut? Does the lock screen allow you to do that? Do you use a blutooth headset or have some automation software installed on your phone? Which contacts is it ringing - are they in your recents or alphabetically at the top of the list of contacts?

No answers, but lots of questions!

Thanks. I don't mind good questions!
It is a flip phone. The 'outside' screen can be used, but only when unlocked with my fingerprint. I've never used it to dial anyone with the screen shut. I didn't have anything attached to it, not Bluetooth or wired, and I don't have any automation software or apps. The people it rings have been family, fortunately. They aren't down as favourites but may have ring (or been rung) most recently.
I was wondering if there is some sort of activity log stored in the phone that logs what happens when, but I haven't found anything.

Would have been cheaper to buy a waterproof case than a new phone.

I know that now! I just can't see a connection between 2 different phones having the same issue. I've even tried putting a damp cloth on the screen to get it to do it again!

Hmmm, I can't see why water ingress would make it call contacts, but not affect it in other ways - it seems very particular and the way it's impacted two separate phones in the same way is odd, leading me to think it's a software/config problem.
