I have a Mavic Mini 2, it's a fantastic little drone and I've used it for a lot of little jobs, b-reel and imaging in the local area.
Obviously I have to be extremely careful living in a restricted zone, but in the 4 years of sporadic use I have never had an issue getting authorisation to fly.

Until yesterday, when I got it out for the first time in months so I could track an illegal hunt in the area, it seems due to CAA/DJI changes I am unable to use a DJI drone in the area anymore - it's simply listed as an NFZ. I understand that a lot of people in the UK have seen similar issues over the last 6 months too.

Based on this, what are my options for a similar sized drone, (250g or less) with equivalent capabilities?

I've been looking at reviews online, but they all seem to default to DJI...

Not sure where in the UK you are, but using this map suggests there are hardly any restricted areas in the UK:

I believe this is the database that DJI use. I'm no expert though, so might be talking ste.

I'm in an enhanced warning zone, but for some reason since the changes it's no longer possible to received the 24hr authorisation token, in effect these areas have become NFZ.
