Stupid, hopefully simple question

With an iphone, if someone sends me a dropped pin it will open in the google maps app. If they send me a location or I click through to one on a link, it will ask me if I want it open it in Apple Maps (not installed), google maps or waze. I click google maps and it will send me to the App Store.

How do i solve this?

What maps app do you have installed?

I believe the OP said he has Google Maps installed.
Looks like there isn't a way to set the default but instead, you set the default in the app that you receive the link from:
