As above, I'm getting spammed with tons of junk mail at present. I've already created the rule to send spam to my junk mail folder, but despite extensive (not really) Googling, I can't see a way to select and block multiple email senders at once and it's pretty tedious going through them individually and blocking the sender.

What am I missing? Or am I stuck with doing them one at a time?

My email is a Gmail address, so is there a way to do it in Gmail rather than the mail app on my MacBook?

Surprised to hear that.

I’ve got a Hotmail account which has its junk folder filled every morning with numerous junk emails.

Mrs A has gmail and never gets anything remotely junk arriving on her iPad.

I thought gmail did all the filtering at the server side so you never get junk on the client.

Maybe I got that wrong.

Sorry I can’t help with your issue.

If you select all the emails and mark them as junk (shift-command-J) then Mail should learn to do it automatically. Might take a few goes. Once they have been put into the junk folder like that then I would hope (but I am not certain on how Gmail works) that Gmail should also learn they are spam.

Hotmail really is crap at this stuff. I keep thinking of moving to gmail but the number of organisations that use my Hotmail account for primary contact or security purposes etc. makes this a non starter.
