Just a heads up.

Amazon are currently doing 4x Blink Outdoor cameras and a sync module for £95.

When I added this to my basket, further deals were applied and I ended up getting it for £40!

What other deals were applied to bring it down to £40?

Was it a lightning deal? I see the cameras for £95, but it doesn't come with a Sync Module nor does it come down to £40, unfortunately.

It says, "Get a blink outdoor two-camera system for £40 with a subscription plus plan. One year plus plan required. Limit one per customer"

Note that you don’t need to pay a subscription to record/save video for access later, if you put a USB memory stick in the sync module.

No not a lighting deal. If you buy a “system” (2 or more cameras) it comes with the sync module (check the specs).

When you go through to check out, it applies 2x 10% blink deals, taking the total of the 4 camera system down to £40

Not working for me. I have the Blink doorbell and one of my outdoor cameras is faulty so I'd go for this at £40, but no discounts being applied?

I'm not being offered OP's deal either and in the four camera package at £95.99 description the Sync 2 module is 'sold separately'.

It does say the Sync module is included in the Tech Specs which (sort of) implies the 'sold separately' applies to the USB drive.

I see you’re paying P&P, do you have prime? That might be the difference.

Exactly this. Sold separately is referring to the USB memory stick, the sync module is included if you buy 2 or more cameras as a ‘system’

Yes, I do have Prime. I buy a lot from Amazon and almost every time, it adds then removes P&P confused

But does yours reduce to £40 like the OP?

It doesn't for me.

One of my cars was broken into last week, I'm looking for some good camera kit to keep an eye on it but I think I'll wait to see what offers appear in a few days time.

Can you view the saved videos remotely (and does it send an alert to your phone remotely)?

I'm still running a pair of Blink Cameras that I got before they introduced the subscription, so I get free cloud access. I would be completely tempted to update if the new sync module (which can save to USB mass storage) completely replaced the cloud part.

I don’t know why it’s doing it for me but I can still get them at £40!

Yes and yes. If you don’t have an active subscription you can even view the locally saved clips via the apps (not possible if you have a subscription)
