Help please
I have been trying to access the "National Preservation" Website and my computer now keeps showing this...

Bad Request

For years I have been able to just click on my link in bookmarks but this has happened for the past week...what has changed?

Try clearing the cookies for that site. That's the usual cause of request header too long errors. It can happen if a site is misconfigured and the cookie stored in your browser grows and grows over time.

Thanks Eliot - that is the website but your link is also blocked for me.
Deggles, If it is cookies - how do I clear them? I'm much better with spanners and hammers!
An idiots guide for clearing these cookies would be good.

In your internet browser in the settings section there will be a bit about deleting data/browsing history. In there you can then clear your cookies and cache.
