It doesn't feel so long since some ISPs had prohibitive "fair use" policies, some may not understand where this question is coming from biggrin

I recently set up a Wire guard tunnel between my two properties, so that I could centralise my CCTV. That obviously has the drawback that my CCTV only works in the other property so long as there is an internet connection, but it's a compromise I can accept.

However this does mean I have a constant 10Mbps upload from my other place, and a constant 10Mbps download at home, 24/7. Neither is a business connection, one is a Virgin cable modem and the other is a Plusnet FTTP.

Has anyone fallen foul of such use on domestic internet connections?

Well that's an order of magnitude more than my ~100GB/day so you're probably right.
