Echo Show 5 security camera

Hi, Just bought another Echo show 5 for the kitchen, and was surprised to learn there was a security camera facility via the phone app which I wasnt aware of, so I have enabled it on both of them and it works fine whilst my phone is on the home WiFi but when I am away from Home and try accessing via the 4G/5G network it will not work, although I can Drop In to both devices ok and get video with no problem, so has anyone else has this issue, I have faffed about in the settings and got no where

Echo Show, settings, Camera, Home Monitoring (switch on), enter password and wait for things to update (exit Alexa App and restart it)

Thanks for the reply, but as I said the security cameras work fine whilst at home, I was more hoping someone would confirm that they can access them from the 4G/5G network so I can know im not chasing something that will never work

My apologies I missed that bit, I have just tested it, even with a 5G connection I can't see it outside of Wifi range either.

Well..to answer my own question, just spent the day at my Daughters and was on 5G and could see the Security Cams ok, so not sure why it doesnt work closer to home

I just realised why mine didn't work on 5G last night. I had turned the camera shutter closed

It can be flaky though, I just tried and it didn't connect I closed the Alexa app down and tried again and it connected straight away. This just out of wifi range on 5G.
