Apple / Google calendar contacts problem

So, I am an Apple man, and use iCal.
My wife uses Google so we have set up a google calendar to share. All fine, but she sees my contacts when, for instance, she goes to invite someone. This is annoying.
How do I stop my contacts being listed please?
I have shared contacts off under settings
