Access to S21

My son's S21 has been trashed by some gym equipment (don't ask!) and he's trying to get at its WhatsApp messages - amongst other things. Does anyone know how he can achieve this, please? He's tried all of the options on the net and got nowhere. Cheers.

Stick the sim card into another phone and log into whatsapp....

Possibly too late for OP, but there's a backup function built into WhatsApp that will upload to your Google account daily.

I was wondering that too and whether it might be possible to plug it into a PC with Samsung DeX installed to see the screen display that way?

Cheers. I'll suggest it. He's tried to access it by PC but the phone has to confirm the connection, which can't be done. I'm not sure he's tried the Samsung app.

As I found the other day plugging my oneplus into a dell docking station to charge and finding the screen mirrored immediately - try plugging it into a docking station if you have one to hand. No app needed.
