Hi .. can anyone tell me which type of external caddy to use so i can use this laptop SSD as a storage device ? Getting confused on amazon/ebay over the different types which look similar .. a link to a suitable unit would be great cheers

Googling the part number says that is an M.2 SATA (rather than M.2 NVMe) SSD.

Something like https://www.amazon.co.uk/SSK-Aluminum-Enclosure-Ex... should do the trick.

I assume Xeny has answered your question but it's the socket type that's important

FWIW I use these for my Mac Mini (4TB iTunes SSD and 1TB TimeMachine) and same again for my M1 MBA (1TB TimeMachine)

Googling the part no in the initial photo gives "Lite-On CV8-8E128 128GB M.2 2280 SATA 6Gb/s"

Hi guys these are the pin pics .. there's a different number of pins on the reverse side of the board so photographed both sides ..
