I couldn't fully articulate what I was asking in the title. But, we have 4 echo dots. One for me in the garage, one in the kitchen and one for each child (they're 10 yo).

I'd like the kids to be able to add their own skills and games and play their music without harassing me every two minutes.

Ideally they'd have their own alexa account that is only connected to their echo dot and I have parental control over both, like i do with google family link ( I'm fed up with them turning each others one off by mistake and then the arguing about whether it was on purpose or not).

Google only seems to tell me how to attach multiple dots to one one account, which is the opposite of what I want.

I haven't tried this, but Alexa keeps prompting us to set up voice recognition. Could that be used to limit access to certain of the devices?

Doesn't this depend on what Amazon music account you are subscribed to? I thought you had to be on the top one to have multiple profiles?

Still can’t use multiple profiles for music on Alexa to my knowledge. Which is a major shortcoming in my opinion.
