Facebook posts not showing
Discussion
For the last week or so when I log in, I see friends postings for only a tiny fraction of a second but then they disappear.
I haven't unfollowed them so ought to see them as normal. Dozens of them flash up then disappear. All that's left is the annoying 'Reels and short videos', then at bottom it says:
'Something went wrong. This may be because of a technical error that we're working to fix. Please try reloading this page.'
Reloading makes no difference. Is there a fix?

I've had all sorts of FB issues recently - sometimes it'll show the same few posts over and over again, even though they're days old. I do use FB Purity, though, so I can't rule that out. And I use the "https://www.facebook.com/?sk=h_cr" link to force it to use the older style listing method, so I don't know if they're doing something with that.
ETA - I did sometimes get the "something went wrong" after scrolling down a bit, but haven't seen it for a bit.

FB Purity, interesting, thanks. Maybe it will get rid of the mindless videos. MesoForm said:
1) How are you viewing Facebook? With the app on your phone, on your computer, etc.
2) If computer, which browser? Do you know if you have any plugins installed?
3) Have you tried logging in differently? ie. via your phone, different browser
Should help narrow down where the issue is.
I have some info - I use desktop and laptop PCs, Firefox and Chrome respectively. Both are affected so I wonder if it's something to do with the adblocker I use? Both machines use Adblock Plus.2) If computer, which browser? Do you know if you have any plugins installed?

ETA Well I really should have thought of it before I put out the call - it was the adblocker. Turned it off for Facebook and everything is back!
