Mac desktop reset after update?
Discussion
Should I be worried?
I had customised the desktop with a company logo, black background etc.Noticed the other day that it had all been reset to the standard Mac colours?
I've managed to change the background colour back but i can't find the logo image. Will this have been saved in the settings somewhere?
Thanks
MacBook Pro 2015, Monterey.

I'll look into that. Thanks.
I'm still quite new to the Mac world. When I first got one I followed the tips in one of those YouTube videos: 'Every new Mac user should do this' type of thing. Now occasionally when I'm swiping around the whole webpage will disappear off to one of the edges. So it's entirely possible this latest issue is down to user error.

If Mac OS has been updated (usually at night), it's entirely possible that the desktop wallpaper will revert to a default Apple image.
As long as you know the name of the wallpaper, you can search for it, and reinstate it in System Prefs/Settings > Desktop & Screen Saver > Change picture.

When you find the logo save it somewhere easy to find and email it to yourself as well.As long as you know the name of the wallpaper, you can search for it, and reinstate it in System Prefs/Settings > Desktop & Screen Saver > Change picture.
