I'm after a cheap/reliable (subscription free) IP Camera that can stick in a window by the front door to be able to view the driveway when I'm wfh.

Key requirement is it is viewable (with minimal lag) in a browser as well as the inevitable cr$ppy app.

Any recomendations?

My various Amcrest cams will do that, I'm guessing that most brands will do something similar. Need to set it up with a unique IP address, that's all that's needed

I would say so, the manual supplied with my cameras is OK. Amcrest is Dahua kit (China) but with US software and manual. You might find it more challenging with a manual provided directly by a Chinese vendor

As long as you know how IP addresses work smile

Edited to add - you'll probably want to set up the camera with a fixed IP address.. My cameras are wired to the router, with Power over Internet, I never trusted wifi cameras...

Eufy.

Not always 100% lag free but decent. Chinese govt watch your every move but unless you're a spy or Barry Gardiner, who cares.

In a camera behind glass will be next to useless as the IR bounces off the glass. Unless you only intend it to be used in the day time and not for security?

Something like a Tapo C210 or TC70? We have a C210 I think the TC70 is just lower resolution.
