Firestick, Google or Roku are the best cheap add ons, although Roku seem to be near impossible to get at the moment.
Another way is to get a Humax or Manhattan PVR so you can also record Freeview.
I haven’t watched Freeview on any of my TVs for years, always through the PVR.
Edit - just seen you dont have an aerial, so scrap the PVR option.

No app on the TV for freeview and I cant download it. With the firestick do I just plug it into the TV?
They plug into the HDMI port, powered by a USB (either from the TV or mains adapter plug). You wont get Freeview (or a TV guide based platform) from these sticks, just a plethora of Apps. So check the one you choose has the Apps you want.
