iPhone 14 stuck

Does anyone know a way to get past this to turn the phone off and reset.

Pressing any of the buttons doesn’t do anything, they move/respond but nothing happens. This message is in the middle ‘stuck’. Holding down the volume button with the big button on the right phones 999 rather than turning off.

Press volume up and the press volume down and then Hold the power button to reset

Press and quickly release the volume up button.
Press and quickly release the volume down button.
Press and hold the side button.
When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.
