Looking to upgrade from a Samsung S21 Ultra and wondered if there were any owners on here who might have any comments on the 12, good or bad.

I don't, but I'm very close to ordering one from Wonda. I've got an 8T which has been solid for 3.5yrs. Would prefer the S24, but it's £1100 vs £600 for the imported OP12.

Buying from Wonda looks interesting!

Will banking apps work on the phone, or do they not care what the ROM is, just whether it is rooted?

And for an alternative view..........

I bought a premium Oneplus 9 at release a few years ago on the recommendation of my nerdy friend who had discovered the brand a while before

It was a mixed bag

Cameras superb, processor decent but its bluetooth connectivity to my usual devices was poor and contactless payments random to say the least

Ive since had a Pixel 6 and an S23

Both have cost a bit more which Ive been happy to pay

Cheers

If its the Chinese version every app will work absolutely fine, I imported my Oppo Find X6 Pro from Wonda and its likely I will never buy a flagship phone from Europe again.

16GB ram, 512GB of memory, 5000mAh battery with flagship spec display and camera for £680 was too tempting. Wonda were also fantastic and it was delivered 4 working days later on their standard delivery.

Wonda will install Google Play for you but the first thing I would do is install all the default Google apps you get on an android such as keyboard, maps etc.
The default English keyboard is hard work.

More importantly check the 4G & 5G bandwidths. The Oppo X6 Pro uses all the available ones in the UK and most of Europe but some other Chinese phones I checked had a few missing, not a deal breaker but it should be looked into before importing.
