Why has this changed from the main screen of Google. Ie I could type into Google "angel of the North and on the tabs above would be maps and click it.

Noe it's not there so I have to go to Google type maps then type in Angel of the North.
It's pita tbh

Its very much algorithm based. If you search for "Where is the Angel of the North?" the Maps button will show again.

Some messing about going on - even typing in a postcode doesn't always generate the Maps button. You have to move along to the right and click "All filters" and select maps.

I've just tried it now (brave browser on linux) and it came up as expected.
