Hi all.

I'm looking at biting the bullet and going down the Magnetic USB charger route for all my devices. They are predominantly USB Type C with a few Micro in the mix. Data transfer is a must for Android Auto.

Please can you recommend a brand and links would be appreciated

Thanks in advance.

What benefit do these give? I have seen them but can’t see how they help?

It saves you constantly pushing the plug in the bottom of your phone. Instead the lead just 'sticks' to the already inserted magnetic adapter.

Gotcha, you leave the other bit in there…makes sense.

Also stops them breaking. Too much force and they just detach.

I love the magnetic ones for charging (especially apple devices) but they don't do data transfer.

The ones I've looked into do .

I'm just looking for any recommendations as to which ones are worth buying.

I use Vatuud (spelling) and they work very well purely for charging from memory. You can have micro usb, usb-c, and lightening.

I've used these for years, they're great, particularly in the car, accuracy not required, just lob the connector in the general direction of the phone.
