Hoping someone can help me. Took my Mac mini away and forgot the Apple Keyboard so using a windows keyboard that’s unmapped to Mac.

Password to login to computer has an @ symbol and despite trying Alt + 2 shift + 2 I’m unable to figure out what @ could be. Unfortunately there password is hidden and unable to view to just randomly try any combinations.

Any suggestions.

Can you bring on up the on-screen keyboard to type it in instead?

However, you may have to still work out how to type Command-Option-F5 to get that to show up!

I also use it to swap tilde and backtick pipe and a few others which re incorrect
