Best phone plan for frequent global roaming?
Discussion
Currently on Voxi which has been cheap £10-12 a month and reliable, but have to remember to buy roaming days when you need them…about £1 a day I think
Daughter starting work as air crew so will be spending time in far flung places for short visits so looking for a pay monthly plan that includes global roaming
Any frequent travelers out there with positive experiences on particular plans?
Thx all

Vodafone Unlimited does the trick for me. On the expensive side versus other sim contracts, but not if you count in the cost of forgetting just once and paying a £100s bill.
My Tesco mobile is set to a £5 limit (outside of contracted free calls/data) and it cust off data immediately if you reach it - and it happens - leave phone on in a plane, fly though several countries and pick up a random signal and your phone sucks data of the web in seconds. Happened to me the last two years travelling, and I am actually quiet careful. If the phone supports running dual sim with an eSIM then at least as a temporary measure get something like a global BNE sim. You can get non expiring data esims that work in lots of places, just make sure to get the right one to cover all needed places and not one of their cheaper regional sims. With FaceTime, WhatsApp etc. I never actually need to make a voice call when abroad these days.
Three worth a look. Admittedly it was 10 years ago that this mattered to me but I had global roaming with data that came from a relatively cheap package. The Americans in particular couldn't believe how little I was paying and how much data I was using on the very same networks that they were paying through the nose for.
I'm also aircrew. A lot of us used to use Flexiroam but their service really went downhill lately.
Most people are now using Airalo which is excellent. I paid US$69 for 20GB valid for 365 days, which when you're travelling constantly is great value. Lots of other packages for smaller quantities of data or shorter duration are available.

Thank you so much for this, we have a lot of staff in the UK that travel to our HO in Bermuda so knowing that they can get roaming data for v little money is a bit of a god send !
