Having worked for an Insurer who provided "Gadget" Insurance, I would always go to my Home Insurers as a first port of call. Usually far cheaper (though perhaps missing things like immediate provision of a replacement phone) and you may even find it's already covered. 1. Read your policy

The Tech Pack from Barclays is pretty comprehensive - covers up to 4 mobile phones and an unlimited number of gadgets (a few exceptions on what gadgets aren't covered).
