Unstable internet running laptop from phone hotspot

I'm a car tech and rely on my my phone for basically every key programming/diagnostic tool i have,and run hotspot connections from my phone no problem to them all.
However,my HP laptop Win 10 is just not having it,i've tried everything!!
So far i've tried firewall off/on,i've allowed my main key programming software on the laptop through the firewall,i've switched off all power saving management options on the laptop,my hotspot connection shows up on the laptop and always connects,but it switches off after a few minutes,then connects itself for a few minutes and it keeps doing this.Any ideas??Thanks!

How many devices have you got connected to the hotspot? Kick all of the rest off and try just the laptop?

This is with laptop only,nothing else getting shared at the same time.
