Whats App.quick question

When i access Whats app and log tap a contact, it shows underneath their icon at the top a message saying 'last seen at......'

is that specific to them checking my contact in particular on their phone or accessing whats app in general?

I believe it's in general.

It's in general. And some people turn it off, so you can't see when they were last online.
