I am out in Thailand and my Galaxy S3 has died. Been to several watch shops to try and get it repaired but no success.
Water got inside so I think it would need proper cleaning and I am not 100% sure but I think our pool might be salt water..

Given it must be 5+ years old its not the end of the world. Its survived a lot already.

I have been into my local samsung shop and they have the version 6 in stock for about £340 which isnt too bad given you can get them on amazon in the UK for about the same. Electronics here can be quite a bit more expensive than UK prices so comparable is good. However, I noticed on Amazon that it says "UK version".

Is anyone aware of any issues with non uk versions? Its BT only so no LTE etc so no issues with frequency?

I am just a bit unsure if its going to be an issue. I am here for at least another 2 months and its doing my head in not having my watch so I really dont want to wait till I get home to replace it.

FWIW my phone is an A32.

I only ask as I know in the likes of Japan they have JDM specific models of electronics but I would not have thought Thailand is like that?

Ive bought a lot of electronics over the years in Thailand and the only Thai variant I have ever come across was an Apple MBA that had a Thai/English keyboard.

Samsung have a decent international warranty. If the price is decent go for it, it should be totally fine.

Does it have to be Samsung. My gf has had two Samsung watches and the battery life is terrible. I’ve just bought her a Garmin watch, which is far better.

I have considered Garmin but the ones I like are a bit more expensive.
