Hi all,

Am converting wife from an old and dying iPhone 6 to an Android phone. She's a complete technophobe.
She wants to be able to access and use her icloud email account. I understand that apps are available that will allow this on an Android device, but can anyone recommend one in particular please, that they have experience of, and that won't get me in trouble with said wife?

Many TIA. thumbup

ETA: I'm told Gmail isn't the best for this, hence the question, but happy to be informed otherwise.

Many thanks. Did find I could add an iCloud account to Gmail, but what a bloody battle it was, requiring an app specific password. 🤬

Thats the way apple does it, I have my iCloud account added to the Gmail app, I hardly use iCloud mind you.

Yeah, wife is insisting on keeping her icloud email address, though she's had it years and it's been her only personal email, so I guess that's fair enough.

Going through the process though simply reminded me of why I ditched Apple/ios many years ago. biggrin

TBH from a security point of view individual app passwords is a good idea.
