Question about Google home page

Here's what I hope is a simple one - my Google home page has 8 little clickable icons showing the most frequently used pages (you can see which one I visit most often) . However, the Facebook icon never appears. Does Google have something specifically set up to prevent FB appearing on their page?

But I've got 10 icons .... 9 are sites and the 10th is 'Add a Shortcut'

The eight on my page automatically update according to the most frequently used.

Perhaps you've previously clicked the 'X' to remove it.

As are the 9 on mine, and the option to manually add one (which I've never done).

Is there a a "customise chrome" button in the bottom right corner? If so click there and you can set the options to display your own shortcuts or auto shorts cuts.

If you hover over one of the icons a cross appears and you can delete it.

Have you done this with the Facebook one before, even accidentally? If so it won't appear again until you restore them all.

I can see the cross but don't remember deleting FB. However, how do I restore them?

If you delete one an option appears at the bottom left of the window to Undo or Restore All.
