I have just bought an interim PC for my wife as her old one failed. I wanted to put her surface curve folding Microsoft mouse on it but I can't seem to find it. The PC doesn't seem to have bluetooth.
Now I have inserted a micro dongle thing which has enabled my logitech keyboard to work just fine. I had hoped it would drive the mouse too. I guess its one device per dongle, or the dongle is pre 4.something?
So, what do I need to enable the mouse please?
The PC is:
HP 290 G3 SFF PC i5 10th Gen@3.20GHz 8GB RAM 256GB NVME Windows 11 Pro
The mouse is:

290 is the small desktop style model right? They don’t have wireless cards as standard so you’d need to purchase one to get Bluetooth functionality. Looks like that mouse only connects via Bluetooth

Any generic one should work, as long as it is 4.0 or better. I suspect anything you buy now will be.
