Quansheng UV K5
Discussion
Is it this one?

If so, this doesn't seem to cover the aviation band, it's ham radio.
It's also a transmitter / receiver, which I believe requires a licence to operate (transmit only).
According to the Amazon description: Frequency range 136-174 MHz, 400-480 MHz
The airband is 108 to 136 MHz

This one? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005382936140.h... Where can you get it for a tenner?
This one
Mine arrived today, it’s pretty neat. Very solid. Receives between 50-600MHz. USB-C charging.
With stock firmware it seems to only receive AM in the airband frequencies; that means no mil range by default, but £8 off eBay gets you a programming cable that lets you flash firmware with AM across the full range and other useful features like named channels

I bought a "Baofeng UV-16 Pro Mate" on Temu this morning for £4.50 (using a 90% discount voucher). No idea what I will do with it, or even what it is capable of, but for £4.50 it had to be bought :-)
I have a VHF radio licence for boat use. Can I use it as a handheld VHF when in the Med?
My boat has a proper VHF radio, but a handheld one would be useful when coming into harbours etc.

Aliexpress, just like ebay has a vast number of sellers selling the same item, so an actual link to the actual seller would be appreciated.
