It doesn't matter what provider is being used for the wifi as long as your mobile provider and phone support it you can use it on any wifi connection.I need to use it as there’s no mobile signal for 7 miles.
I live in a village with very little mobile signal. I use wifi calling at home, at friends houses, down the pub.
Network wifi calling has nothing to do with your wifi/broadband provider.
If your handset supports it and your mobile network offers it - and Sky does - and you have a strong enough wifi signal it will work. I use my american phone in the UK via wi-fi calling (in airplane mode except for wifi) connected to Sky wifi/broadband and it works perfectly.
